A few years back my wife and I had an interesting date routine where we choose a random MBTA station and go visit that station for the weekend. It was a crude Python script that chose the station for the day.The picture here shows us visiting Milton Station on the Mattapan High Speed Line on a cold winter day. On that day we also explored parts of Ashmont and the Mattapan neighborhoods.

That little script inspired the new MBTA Station of the Day feature on Thinking Park. The page should now surface a station automatically and show a link to the station Wikipedia page. It randomly chooses a station every day at midnight, local time on your computer. More features will be coming!
